I never take advantage of offers from retailers.  It is just too difficult to find where you are going to get hit.  I&#039;m sure there are legit offers out there that are worth it from time to time, but it is just not worth it to me.

Even you comment &quot;I am sure you can tell what is coming next.&quot; suggests that everybody knows this.  So how do people who are vulnerable to being sold stuff reduce their vulnerability.  

My vote is to convince yourself that the &#039;free&#039; stuff is not worth the hassle which will happen more often than not...
