No Logic, it was meant to be somewhat "silly", but it does help to bring up the fact that more people are using that money to buy iPhones than saving for retirement, which is not a good thing. 

I don't regret at all going to a cheap state school (that I paid much more for going as out of state). I  got a good education and contacts to get me into the graduate school I wanted, but more important than all of that I met my wife, who's priceless :)</description>

Me?  I went to a cheap state school, and now I can afford $17,000 for an iPhone if I want one.  :)</description>
